So after not posting a Typography post in December, I am back with a brand spanking new one this month. As always I attached images of each piece and also added a picture of the pens I used. This month was all about uppercase letters; I found some awesome ones on Pinterest.

This one was a tad tricky to do actually, when I tested this uppercase out first, I got the shadowing outlines all wonky. I was glad I had a little practice because it turned out really well; I used the Pigma Micron 08 pen to outline then filled it in with the Paper Mate black flair pen. I shaded the shadows with a 2B pencil. I love the fact that if you look at this image from a distance, it kind of looks 3D which I was really happy out, this is a first for me with doing some shadowing but I really enjoyed it and hopefully I will be doing it a lot more.

This proved a little tricky again; when I tested this uppercase out I actually found doing the corner curves hard. I love a challenge with typography a lot more lately, helps me to improve my skill that bit more. I used the Pigma Micron 08 pen to outline and then filled it in with the Paper Mate black flair pen. I also shaded the shadows with a 2B pencil. This piece looks great from a distance as well. It took a lot longer to fill in, as it was a thicker uppercase.

I tried my hardest with this one; I actually practiced this one a lot more then the others, as I was so attracted at the complicated look of this typeface. It is rather easy to draw but it looks more interesting to the eye more than anything. I only used the Pigma Micron 08 pen to draw this one. Simple but rather quirky, I really want to find more weird typefaces and maybe doing a Typography post only about them. Let me know what you think.

I am fascinated by the different forms of the punctuation & as it looks great when done properly. I had to give this one several goes before posting the best one. I may even just do a blog post about them. In order to achieve this effect I used the Pigma Micron 08 pen to outline then the Paper Mate black flair pen to fill it in. I really think this alone looks great, if you added similar typography next to it I reckon that would look awesome as well. I will be featuring these more in a few more typography posts.

So that's it for another Typography post, I love doing these, as there are endless variations of posts for them. I mentioned a few ideas above; I may even try doing one solely about logos. Who knows I have awesome plans for my Typography posts this year; I may start to show you the original ones side by side to mine. Let me know what you think by tweeting me. See you on the next post.

So I am back to reviewing apps on my blogger, I will be reviewing either multiple apps or just one app. Let’s get right into this blog post then. From experience I tend to find it hard to organise my day when I do not write to do lists. I used to use the Stickies app on my Mac but I found it to be rubbish and obviously cannot use it anywhere else except from my Mac. I actually found it to be less of a motivator and tended to not get much done during the day. That was until I found a really good app on the Mac App Store, which is called Todoist. I love this app now and the fact I can use it not only on my Mac but also on my iPhone and my iPad makes my life so much easier.

With Todoist, you can categorise each item you want to add to your to do list. So maybe you remembered you need to pick up some dry cleaning then you can add that to your personal to do list. Everyday you can see exactly what you need to do and it also mentions what category it comes under. I have actually found myself completing all the tasks on the to do list and feeling so much better about it. You can get emails about how productive you have been during the week and also it gives you a quick run down of what you planned for the day. A lot of people who might be interested in using this app, you may ask the question of but what about appointments that come via my email. You can download an extension for your web browser (excluding Safari) where you can add appointments easily with a simple few clicks. Because no one wants to copy and paste the details and potentially get it wrong. You might be really interested in the app but you own multiple devices that aren’t the same, say you have an android phone but have an iPad and aren’t sure that it will sync easily. With this app you don’t have to worry about that because, in order to sign up for Todoist, either use your Google+ account or sign up for an account via Todoist. I decided to use my Google+ account as I already have a Google+ account. Here’s a little extra for you, why not share your to do lists with your friends so they remember group events or maybe just for university so you know that you are on top of all your assignments.

So now I have told you about how great it is you guys want to know where you can get it. Well this app is available on nearly every device. App Store, Android Store, Mac App Store, Google Chrome, Firefox, Gmail, Windows, Thunderbird, Web and Outlook. The fact it is available on some many devices really does make a whole lot of difference. I hope you guys enjoyed this blog post; I have added some screenshots just make life easier for you. Also I will link you to their website here. I will see you guys on the next blog post.

So the last time I blogged was in December and I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year. I am back blogging again but I really wanted to give you guys a little taster of what to expect on my blog and on my YouTube Channel.

Lets start with my blogger first, so I really want to do more Hauls on my blogger as I really enjoyed writing about it more then filming them. I get to write things a lot clearer then I would when I film them. I really enjoyed going on a photography walk and, at Christmas I was given new film for my Polaroid camera. In 2015 I will be posting a lot more photography walk blog posts. I tried blogging about technology on my blogger and I reckon I did rather well with it all but I aim to post at least on technology post once a month. I will do anything from reviews to top 5 lists. I will still keep up the typography posts as they are so much fun to make. I think that's about it with updates on my blog.

Right then lets get talking about my plans on my YouTube channel. I currently have 339 subscribers and would love to reach the 500 mark this year. I hope to at some point and when I do I am going to start a gaming channel so I can post all gaming videos to that channel, as my gaming videos struggle with views on my channel at the moment. Talking about gaming videos I really want to make gaming videos a lot more frequently so, I thought I would post them every other Wednesday. I really find them a lot of fun to make and I am currently looking into getting a few more games to play, since I feel I am rather repetitive with game plays. So tweet me some suggestions that you love playing please. I would like to post some covers ever so often, these will not be very frequent but maybe once a month or something. I do love making them and I am currently practising a few songs so you may see the next one in the next few weeks. I love doing my Top 5 list videos so I will be doing a lot more of those as well, my D.I.Y videos have been something I enjoy making and the interactive Christmas video I made was so much fun to organise and upload. One of the most successful videos on my channel has been my American Candy Taste Test and that racks up the views constantly. So I was thinking of doing more seasonal candy videos instead. So like my Halloween one I will be doing ones around Easter as well. As I mentioned before in this post I am no longer going to be making Haul videos but I will be blogging about the items instead.

Memory Box ended rather abruptly last year as after editing Novembers one I really had enough of editing large files of vlogs, I really lost interest in making them over December. I decided to upload shorter vlogs instead so go check out my Japan Vlogs here. I really want to concentrate on uploading singular vlogs instead. I tend to find them easier to edit and love how they turn out more. They will appear on my channel a lot more and at random times but follow me on Twitter to find out when I will vlog.

So go follow me on my Blogger and subscribe to me on YouTube. I will see you guy’s next post, which is going to go out next week.

So this blog post is kind of different, but lately whilst I do my work I love listening to Podcasts. I have come across a few over the last month and thought I would tell you guys about them. Since finding them can be rather tricky and a blog recommendation can be useful.

Lets start off with the first podcast I came across which was the PewDiePie (Felix) and Cinnamontoastken (Ken) podcast called BroKen podcast. I really enjoy this podcast and they cover all manors of topics. They tend to have a list of topics to chat about it varies from YouTube to gaming If you like gaming then these guys are the types of people whom I reckon you would like to talk about. They tend to mention things that you would never hear about in a YouTube video. I really enjoy it when they get guests in on the show; previous guests have been Markiplier, Cry, Inthelittlewood, Jacksepticeye and Sam stippin. It is supposed to be weekly but can be rather staggered and each podcast lasts around 1 hour.  You can listen to it here.

Turbopals podcast consists of four people and it includes TomSka (Tom), ScarfDemon (Chloe) ElliotExplicit (Elliot) Eddache (Eddy). This podcast tends to be a whole mixture each week; they have talked about YouTube and anything culturally relevant. They are all on YouTube and friends and it is interesting to hear a podcast with more than 2 co-hosts. You will definitely find yourself laughing at a few points so it is perfect for a Monday morning wake up. They don’t tend to have guests as they already have four people talking. They try to upload weekly but it is rather staggered and each podcast is also 1 hour. You can listen to it here.

Not too deep is by Grace Helbig and features new guests each episode. If you like peculiar chat and something that may make you laugh a lot then this podcast is perfect for you. She brings in YouTube people and always has a challenge for each of her guests. You can watch challenges from the podcast on her YouTube Channel here. You can expect top comedy on this podcast, no heartfelt moments just a full on hour of laughing and awkwardness. This series is weekly and you can rely on them to be weekly as these are all pre recorded. You can listen to it here.

Let me know if you have come across any podcasts yourself, I always love a recommendation. I love a good spontaneous topic blog post so see more of those in the future.

So we have come to that point on my blog where a month has passed and it is time to show you some of the pieces of typography that I have drawn for you guys. I decided to base this month’s theme on script handwriting.

I really fancied trying out some simple script handwriting this month and firstly I came across this beautiful handwriting. I love the simplicity of it and the neat finishes. It is not too bold but it is rather eye catching to me. I used the Pigma Micron 08 pen for this piece, I felt that a thicker pen would help to bring out the word.

What really caught my eye with this one was the interesting & sign. This was really fun to draw, as it was not as tricky as some other ones in this post. It has no real consistency but I love that about it. I used the Pigma Micron 08 pen for this piece and found is really good for this piece.

This piece is different to the rest as the flicks are very prominent in the piece. I always find it super hard to the handwriting s as it is not a full s and almost looks like an r. This one was far trickier but I want to improve on my hand writing s and hopefully make it look more fluid. So hopefully in the future Typography posts it will have improved. I used the Pigma Micron 08 pen for this piece and found it perfect for this piece.

The last one was this very simple handwritten piece. I had to practice doing this one a couple of times before I drew it out on my Ad Pad. I loved the flamboyant P in this piece so much that's why I practiced it a little more. I really struggled with the m but I really am happy with how it turned out after all that practice. I used the Pigma Micron 08 pen was again perfect for the piece.

Well that brings us to the end of this Typography post. I am enjoying these type of posts a lot and will be carrying on with it next year as well also do not fret there will be one in December.

So my blog this month is all about Photography, as you guys may know, today I am going to show you some Polaroid snaps that I took the other week. I have wanted to get back into Photography and what a great way to do so then by using my Polaroid camera. I have had the camera for several years but only bothered to get some new film for it just recently. The film I used is expired so that is why the photos are not perfect and they have imperfections, but I actually like that about them.

The first set of images below was taken whilst I went out on a walk near my local area. I had never come to this part of where I live before so it was rather fun to find something new to photograph. I have been madly fascinated with cloud photography and the clouds on this day were just perfect. I found so many interesting shots so take a look at what I photographed below.

The last set of images is taken on a different day and in a totally different place. I used film that was expired a lot longer before the previous one, so that is why I have brown marks on the top corners. If you look past that then you can see the interesting light that emerges through the trees. I loved the dewy winter lighting on that day so it made the image so much more interesting. I did not take many snaps this day but still I liked the outcome but take a look at the photographs below.

I will be taking my Polaroid out with me on another walk, so look forward next year to some more photography posts. I also vlogged both walks and the footage will be in Memory Box November, will link the video when it does come out. I am super excited to post more things like this post I just did. Let me know in the comments and on Twitter if you go on photography walks. I would love to see your images as well. See you on the next post.
